Dancing provides a great social life both on and off the dance floor and many get together in small groups to socialise in other ways. But you cannot beat going away for a seasonal dance break to forge friendships and to chat to those you only smile at and say ‘hi’ to on the dance floor.

We had a great time at Dawlish in February. With our biggest number ever, we filled every available room in the hotel. Some on the reserve list were inevitably disappointed, so do book as soon as possible if you would like to join our fun-filled party with quality dancing. The popularity of this lovely family–run hotel, right on the coast, has prompted us to book a second visit in September this year. And most of our February dancers have voted to come again in the Autumn so book quickly as we can only have 38 rooms in September.

Daytimes will be free to explore — many choose to visit Exeter or Torquay. And it is a great venue for country and coastal walking. Our morning practice sessions are proving popular too. The lovely ballroom has accommodated over 120 comfortably in the evenings.

So do come and join our three–day break which provides three nights of social dancing – Ballroom, Latin and Sequence.

SEPTEMBER THEME NIGHTS:

MONDAY - Indian Summer – so keep those summery dresses handy (with decorated straw hats maybe?) or go “ethnic” if you wish.

TUESDAY - Come as you please - in black and white.

WEDNESDAY - Harvest Ball - With all those glorious Autumn colours in evidence. Evening wear preferred. There will be a Harvest produce draw for our Heartswell charity.

SUNDAY - Blue Moon - Blues & silver

MONDAY - Carnival of colour

TUESDAY - The Langstone Spring Ball - (evening wear) with a charity draw
