Newquay in November has always been the most popular of our venues and 2009 was no exception. We had up to 115 dancers on the floor – in the biggest hotel ballroom we have ever found. The Atlantic has to be the best in Cornwall for our needs so we have booked again for 2010 – our eighth successive year, encouraged by the continuuing and regular support not just from the South West but from many other parts of Britain too. The Atlantic has a huge ballroom with a revamped dance floor and an excellent surface for our 3–day party which involves social dancing (mainly ballroom, Latin and sequence) each evening. Daytimes will be free to explore and even do a bit of early Christmas shopping (Truro is the favourite), although morning sessions may be arranged if there is a demand for them.

Our dancers seem to like theme nights because it helps to focus their planning and packing so for 2010 these will be:

• Friday: IT'S NOVEMBER 5th - time to sparkle and glitter again
• Saturday: Colourful “PARROTS OF THE CARRIBEAN’ – or pirates if you wish. A fun night.
• Sunday: A TRIBUTE TO BRITAIN BALL – a night for formal wear with a difference – the accent being on red, white and blue
