on our 33rd visit

Dancing provides a great social life off the dance floor as well as on it and most supporters get together in small groups to socialise in other ways.

But you can't beat going away for a seasonal dance break to forge friendships and to get to know better those you only smile at and say ‘hi’ to on the dance floor. We had a great last year in Dawlish, which is always a popular venue. Our dancers travel from many parts of the country.

Encouraged by many of our regular supporters, Henry and Jeannie Clark are planning yet another 3-day break to Dawlish - our 33rd visit. Many who joined us last time join us every year to enjoy the early signs of spring. We couldn't fault the hotel, so, once again we have booked one of the favourite ballrooms in Devon at The Langstone Cliff Hotel, Dawlish – for our break (which is alightly later in March).

The Washington Suite has a lovely big ballroom so this opportunity is offered first to the many dancers who have joined us before to enjoy the 3-day party which involves social dancing (mainly ballroom, Latin and sequence) each evening, but there should be room for newcomers as well. Daytimes will be free to explore and the venue provides great coastal walking. Morning practice sessions will be arranged if there is a demand for them. See below for our nightly dance themes.
